iPod Repair

This existing customer came to us with a simple requirement. They had invested in a new range of repair options for iPod, iTouch and in due course for iPhones.
“We want a new site which looks great, is hosted and supported by you, is implemented in a CMS technology, allows for order processing, imposes a strong stable process on the business and is ready in two weeks."






We wanted to ensure that the customer had as much information as possible, that the customers experience would be as straight forward as possible, that the administration interface would provide the internal users with control of as much as possible of the application,support for online payments, automated email updates for end and internal users, controlled workflow process for the orders.



Using our inhouse CMS solution as the basis of the application and working with our Flash development team, we implemented a feed to our flash components to allow non technical internal users to manage the Flash application.
We implemented a simple order process allowing the users full visibility on all steps:

• initially evaluate the possible cost for the repair
• delivering the item to the workshop getting confirmation of costs
• confirming the repair and at all times automatically keeping the user updated.

The application will allow for more sophisticated planning when the repair centre has established a reasonable velocity measurements based on a stable volumes of turn over.

The ipod repair centre now has a site which is fully operational supporting the growing business.
