Irish Association for Play TherapyWe recently worked with The Irish Association for Play Therapy (IAPT) to create a new site.
The mission of IAPT is to act as a self-regulating professional body for play therapists in Ireland, and to protect clients, their families, and the profession itself, by
setting stringent training and accreditation standards, ethical frameworks, and supportive policy and procedures. This includes providing an accreditation process for practitioners and courses. In this way, and through developing professional relationships with stakeholders, IAPT seeks to support the further development of play therapy, and therapeutic play, services in Ireland.
This website is intended as an information resource for therapeutic play, play therapy, filial play and creative arts therapies. It`s designed for anyone interested in helping children with emotional literacy, behaviour or mental health problems.
