There are regular scheduled conference meetings to allow for discussion on work in progress and future tasks.
There are site visits undertaken on a regular basis in both directions with Prime Carrier team visiting our offices for face to face meeting and visa versa for our development team.
Technology Used:
Prime Carrier Ltd supply software to support the international Wholesale Voice Carrier business. As part of their suite of modules they allow for the automated update of multi vendor switches. We undertook to support the existing application and to undertake the development of new switch drivers for both TDM switches and VOIP switching.
The engagement initially required our team to gain a detailed understanding of the existing application which had been developed over a number of years in a windows environment. Once this knowledge was in place the team was in a position to support the current application and add further functionality. Subsequently a significant part of the application has been moved to a java environment to allow for a hosted implementation of the application.
We now have four dedicated developers and one project manager assigned to this project. The development utilised the team's skills in Java, VB6 and MML command language.
The engagement is ongoing.
