COWPR - Mobile Marketing Management

Mobile Marketing Management application server, interfacing with mBlox servers, accessing the largest mobile transaction network. The application has been implemented for COW PR, a leading UK based PR Company.

It consists of a Java server with a listener, which connects to the mBlox transaction network. The application receives messages using a dedicated pattern from end-user mobile phones and sends back a response text. When an end user sends a text to the short code number, with a keyword requesting the use of the service, the application looks for the relevant data and sends them to the end user. The text will be delivered as a result of the request to the Java application. Once the request is received by our application the short code and keyword are evaluated and once it is acceptable the relevant data is selected from the database and returned to the user.

The server application was developed using a Java business layer with a MYSql database server for storage of lookup data for transactions and keywords. The user administration interface was developed using PHP with MYSql databases for storage of client's specific information. We host both server and administration interface on a high security server located in UK, using Ubuntu OS.

The application is supported by experienced Java developers, senior PHP developers and LAMP specialists.

The project was delivered on schedule and within budget.
